AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a condition caused by
a virus called HIV which attacks the immune system and the body's
"security & strength force" that fights off infections. AIDS is an
extremely serious condition, and at this stage the body has very
little defense against any sort of infection. You must have heard
that someone "died of AIDS.". This is not true. The fact is that,
the person’s body is not able to defend itself against the germs
that spread infections.
